I’m excited to announce that I’m now offering private music lessons in and around the Brighton area! I am also accepting online students. All ages and abilities are welcome. I am primarily offering voice, piano, and guitar lessons but can also provide tuition in the field of music technology and production.

I have a valid DBS, as well as a BMus in Music Peformance and Production from the London College of Contemporary Music, followed by an MA in Digital Music and Sound Art at the University of Brighton. I’m trained in musical theatre, classical, rock/pop, and even more esoteric techniques like screaming and overtone singing.

I believe strongly in the power of integrating science with more traditional music pedagogy - I believe that the best way to play an instrument is to understand how it works at the fundamental level. I try to bring this into my teaching even with my younger students, offering age-appropriate explanations for why things are done a certain way. At the end of the day, I want to ignite a similar passion for music-making in my students that I experience on a day-to-day basis.

Lessons can be held either at my flat near Preston Park, or I can travel to you assuming you’re local to the Brighton area. Online lessons are also available for those not in the Brighton area.
